• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

As for this game, impressed with the way we are playing but I think from my view that we seem to be lacking a centre forward.
I would like VP to come on. Burgess looking but rusty at times too. Ronald is still being Ronald. Widell looking like best potential

Impressed with Inoussa - direct but maybe needs to be a little more selfish
Impressed with Widell - always aware, good touch and I think he will link brilliantly with Eom

Galbraith has been solid, doesn't give it away, comes short to offer a ball for defenders and plays in others at a better angle. Never attacks but thats not his game

The lack of a focal point up top has been a problem and something that Cullen won't offer

Same old Swans, neat possession football, toothless in the final third. If we don't sign a decent striker, it's going to be a long hard season.
Cullen hold up play is good but striker is needed.

All pretty positive from the new signings so far. Apart from Santos, hope it’s just a precaution taking him off. Desperately need a centre forward though it looks like we have a lot of talent to create chances with very little to take advantage of it.

I know it’s just a meaningless half paced kick about, but still too much passing for no reason and after 5 minutes going nowhere, back to Vigoroux to just whang it forward, that’s just stupid. Use the midfield as playmakers not Vigs and Fulton.

I agree that Burgess was a bit sloppy, hopefully it was just rustiness. Santos started well, then made a howler to present Cheltenham with a chance they should have put away but fecked up. Then he hobbled off. Hope Ben is fit soon.

Food ready yet? 🍲🍲 Cullen if you could all him a striker.
You can call him a striker (he can score) but not a forward. Nowhere near good enough now to be first choice anywhere (or shouldn’t be).

Much more positively, they won’t really know each other yet, and it’s been mostly fine so far. They’ll need a month of serious competition, better than Chelters, to jelly.

Rats. I was really hoping that he’d make a return to the Swans, as he was exactly what we needed when he came to us on loan, and may still have needed for the upcoming campaign.

I hope I’m proven wrong on this one, or we actually bring in someone similar who can take the reins in midfield.

Missed the start. Was Santos injured in contact, or was it a twist or muscle issue?

I think Galbraith is the person they’ve brought in to do that.
