• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Hopefully those in charge have had the Snoop nonsense out of their system and go back to doing some work in the transfer market because, let's face it, we need it on the evidence of these past two friendlies.

The results pre-season are irrelevant but fitness and momentum is. I was hoping to see our non scoring midfield chip in against lower opposition and cut out the silly set peice goals.

Hopefully this process irons out who Sheehan wants and doesn't require in the squad to clarify further who we need to bring in.

Doesn't take a genius to work out what's required so hopefully that can be put right before the season starts.

Losing and playing crap against League One and Two teams in succession (both opponents expected to struggle in their leagues) is very worrying.
What’s worse is we ain’t even creating nothing

Not for me personally, I’ve seen us play crap in preseason before against worse than league one and two teams (Richmond Kickers comes to mind). It has no bearing on the season ahead.

Don’t get me wrong, if we’re 5, 10 games in and not creating and scoring, then I’d be worried but I’m not bothered enough about preseason form to be worried at the moment.

😬🫣
Optimism slowly getting deflated?
Not watching the game but doesn't make for good reading and people seeing no game plan.

I wonder if Sheehan will be mentioning the need for more players again in his presser.
