As many has said, get few more players in and I think we can push on for playoffs. I do think it's gonna be a bumpy start to the season but will pick up.

Mid table pushing for Play Offs would be fine for me but we have so many fuckwits in our fan base if we haven’t won the league by December there’ll be a riot.
As long as we’re at least in the Championship next May that’s cool.

Anywhere inside the top ten, continue to grow, add new, well thought out recruits in the January and next summer's windows. There is no other way our club can exist.

I wouldn't class it so much as expectation more of hope. We look as though we have strengthened but bar a couple of other clubs so has everyone else. I would take top half anything better would be a bonus IMO.

You got to try and go and grab promotion with both hands if you have a squad capable of doing so! Pointless settling for anything else as your best players will be plucked from you every season and there be continous rebuild

At the moment solid mid-table is best we can hope for, but if we get the 3 or 4 players in that we're currently missing, then we have a good chance at being in the mix for 5th or 6th place.

I put in a scrap. We're threadbare as a team and the friendlies are not awe inspiring.

Don't think we will be in a scrap.

After Williams left and Sheehan reminded the players of their basic responsibilities, namely positional discipline and the expectation you sprint to get the ball back when you've lost it, results improved dramatically.

I don't expect those basic standards to drop so I think we'll be fine. The only question mark is whether we can build on it and set our sights a bit higher up the table.

Parking recency bias with some underwhelming friendlies..

The Swans last 10 actual league fixtures were stellar results wise. What is the difference?
We are down LOB and Darling (and some fringe players who didn't add much) but have added Innoussa Widdell Burgess Santos and Wales.
Why are people expecting a poor season?
I think we will be challenging playoffs - and if we added a cutting edge up front - even more so.
As always we will need luck with injuries - but that is true of every team.

There was a “fan” at the game today in Exeter at least 40 who was ranting and raving, swearing at the players calling some of our U21 players c@*nts and generally over reacting to everything including the ref disallowing goals. Screaming you can’t be offside from a corner when the ref had given a foul as the reason for disallowing the goal.

I was not overly impressed with our performance today but equally it was a friendly after a week of friendlies and with a mix of players, what is the real expectation of some of our fans?

Cant see us getting promoted, division is going to be a tough one this year, and not brimming with confidence atm, lets see what is occuring inwards in a months time, but as a last resort would be happy to be still in the division,
