Another thing that’s bemused me today is the amount of people saying he didn’t know what he was doing by getting Idah ready to come on before Vipi scored his second.
How the fuck was he supposed to know that then when the game was stuck at 1-1 and he was about to take off a shattered Vipi who had run himself into the ground for fresh legs in Idah to try and get the win.
Can you imagine what he’d be being called today if the game had finished 1-1 and he hadn’t have made any changes.

Absolute wankers. 👊🏻💦

You make a valid point when it comes to players running themselves in to the ground. As supporters in the stand what we don't see are the running stats along with all the other data the sports scientists gather throughout the game.

Can you imagine the outcry if he'd kept the lad on and he picked up an injury?

They won't be happy until Sheehan is gone, and Kim Hellberg comes in to restore the glory days of having 70% possession during 4-1 defeats.

I don’t know wtf is wrong with people.

Some people are only happy when they've got something to complain about which is fairly evident with a fair few posters missing in action from Wednesday evening.

I just want to be entertained watching my team.

Great win yesterday but I'm sorry the performance was far from it. Two winder strikes aside, we hit the post and that was it.

13 goals in 12 games (?), lowest for every discernible attacking stat in existence, it's just not good enough.

People can support Sheehan and that's fine but don't berate people for a different (now majority) view.

So going forward, how can he win you round? If these next 10 games we see clear improvement in attacking stats for example?

Berate? Some of the crap on a match day thread thrown at him and certain players is beyond ridiculous.

You say berate, a lot of on here could spin that and suggest a few comments are bordering on abuse which isn't usually tolerated on this forum.

I'm not as long in the tooth as some on here but I have been following the Swans for 35 years. In that time, I would say the only times I have been genuinely entertained were as follows:
  • Frankie Burrows's 92/93 play off side with two wingers on each flank, Coughlin pulling the strings in midfield and Ford and Lyttle, two good attacking full backs.
  • 96/97 Jan Molby's play off team, great fun to watch (if a little ropey at the back but that was part of the fun)
  • 2003-2005 with Trunds and Robbo having a laugh most weeks and often entertaining for entertainment's sake.
  • 2007-2013 under Roberto, Brendan and Laudrup. Nuff said.
  • A smattering of games during the Potter season.
That's about 10 years in total, give or take. The rest has been 25 years of mostly tedious shite.

MIght I suggest you lower your expectations a little bit. Especially the way the game has gone in recent years, more risk averse, sanitised etc.

Sorry And, I'm not being funny but why should I lower my expectations with 2 shots on target yesterday? What should I lower it to, 1 per game?

That was going to erupt yesterday before vip sorted again, so I think I'm very much in the majority

Winning also excites fans something that has been rare this season.......there are some if us who have watched the Swans a lot longer than you....and seen some worse bilge under the likes if Harry Gregg but attractive football with results under Harry Griffiths ,Toshack
Other folks can have an opinion repesct them you never do

We won yesterday and a lot of our fans seem absolutely gutted about it.
