Have no doubt about it we are in a very dangerous place at the moment, we have a lot of players who’ve hardly featured so far, keeping everyone happy when you’re winning is difficult enough but when you’re on the kind of run we are it becomes pretty impossible.

I wish I never watched that video on this post about the stats on Swansea. It's scary. How bad we have gone. Lose Saturday and fans will make there voices heard more. I really don't want to react and wanted to keep faith but he will have to do alot to regain my trust.

Anyone still think Sheehan will take us to the playoffs?
I did say he would. That tells you everything about how terrible I would be to run a football club 😂😂. I mentioned it on other posts. I'm shocked how quickly its all unfolded under Sheehan. The stats are shocking and performances as well. Can't Remeber last time fans turned and wanted him out. Maybe Duff? Bradley?

It’s a shame really as what he’s done in the 2 caretaker spells it’s brilliant considering the situation we was in and the points he picked up, but one thing for sure is it isn’t happening so far this season and we look piss poor, predictable every game, hoof it down the channels or straight down the pitch cross after cross or get in to attacking positions to see the ball back with Bango at CB.

Maybe there lies the issue. When he was a caretaker he had nothing to lose. Now he has the keys. He doesn't have the luxury. Maybe pre season should of been a warning to us. Who knows. I gave him a shot and sad to say that I have given up at this time on him. Many will delight and say I told you so... But I refuse to be always negative.

Based off that video and the stats. It's gonna take a lot for me to change my mind now. He has to go. I'm saying it now. He might turn it around but those figures are scary.
I actually can agree with most of the sentiment in this video towards the end. It isn’t a good thing to just go sacking managers, especially like he says, one who is in his first job. The counterpoint to that is that we’ve played 11 games and not looked good in nearly all of them. Our defence started brilliantly but we’ve dropped off significantly since then. It’s tricky, I would give him until the next internationals to see if we improve.

He can change it around but the issue is, is he too stubborn to go away from the route he has decided on and can get turn it back round.

The owners must be thinking what is going on here and have we had our trousers pulled down, i bet it's what's going on in their heads but are currently telling others something different.....it's a few games from exploding for me.

Jumping on the end of this thread so sorry if it has been mentioned, but I feel like the players equally need to feel accountable. This is the 4th (5th??) manager we have seen the exact same issues with. Surely not all our managers are totally to blame?

Depends on whether they all tell the players to play a certain way.

It seems to be as though the football we were playing at the end of last season has been replaced by a variation of Russ/Lukeball, without any real reason as to why.

Our problem is this ‘Swansea Way’ stuff which is killing us. It doesn’t work anymore, football is cyclical. I think Sheehan has tried to incorporate it into his playing style. Our own mentality holds us back because we are the only club that has to adhere to a style of play that largely doesn’t work.

Where is the talk of 20 million coming from?

Inoussa 5m
Stamenic reported about 2m
Galbraith 1.5m
Idah 5m

The rest are frees and loans.
The initial outlay won't be near that but it will eventually cost us nearly 20m with the players that have come in the summer to team up with the squad.

Idah 6m
Inoussa 5m
Stamenic 2m
Galbraith 1.5m
Wales 300k
Widell 3M

The loans and freebies would have come with an initial outlay.

I don't think the situation allows a person to say I told you so although you will get people who will still thrive in being correct.
Football always is the unknown and the manager situation falls into it, look at Fergie at United..he was one match away from the boot and the rest his history.
You can't have stubborn heads in this game.
