• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Maybe my attempt at humour is lost.

I shouldn't give up the day job.................................. even though I'm retired

:)
It’s not you, I’m just a miserable bastard 🤨

Can we all just draw a line under Sheehan and all start getting behind the new manager?

Not sure about anyone else, all this arguing is spoiling my enjoyment of the site.
Biggest clown on here, you can’t even draw a line under a previous manager who you constantly refer to every time you have nowhere to go with your argument.

I’m gutted for him and for us that it didn’t work out.
He won me over last season and I was happy to change my mind and call for him to be made permanent.
Alarm bells rang in the pre season games when Cheltenham and Exeter were the attack minded teams and we were on the back foot. It feels like this has carried through to the league and it’s not improving.
I don’t follow any football outside of the championship so I have no idea where we go now…. I’ve heard “Brendan” mentioned about 500 times since Saturday.

I will say, the atmosphere wasn’t toxic on Saturday, it was one of malaise, defeat and shoulder shrugs, which is worse than toxic.

I only do it because you get a boner when his name is mentioned.

Now let’s leave the name calling behind us and put some enjoyment back in to the site.

Wonder what sort of relationship Brendan had with him?

I didn't take it as grandstanding just an honest misunderstanding, but if it is that, then don't worry. I've kept all the receipts, for when this wonderful world beating squad still end up in 12th under the new coach 😉
I don't care about finishing 12th, I just want to be entertained and look forward to match days again.
