• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

They will be lucky to break double figures this season.

Derby's 11 points is certainly looking under threat - they had 6 points after 17 games

I can’t see where a win is coming from for them either. They’d be better off fully adopting Warnock-ball or big Sam style.

The very worst team to get promoted, we spanked them twice.

Flattered to deceive with one of the most gammon managers, ever. They had the mass media hooked lined and sinkered last season.

The fact that Lord Britton failed there says it all. McB and Brewster thoroughly ill advised from a professional development perspective but hats off to them both for being the proper capitalists they are. Bon chance for those that venture.

Anathema to the many underachievers on here no doubt.

OK, I'll bite.

They are without a doubt terrible this season. But how on earth is finishing 9th in the PL with 54 points as a promoted team 'flattering to deceive'? The mass media (arf) didn't have anything to do with them beating Spurs, Chelsea, Everton, Wolves and Arsenal. If you want to say that they are one-trick ponies and have been found out now, then fair enough. But they were superb last season.

We topped 54 points only once in our time in the PL, with 56 points when we finished 8th under Monk. We didn't get more than 47 points in any other season, even under Rodgers and Laudrup. Does that mean we were shit too?

No idea what you're going on about with the rest of it. From memory, most wished McBurnie well when he left.

First win of the season - 1-0 against 10 men Newcastle

Two dreadful sides it has to be said.

Newcastle may be worth a punt on relegation. Their supporters think they have a few more points than they deserve so far.

On another note in tonight’s football MGW looking good vs Everton

I saw a post from one of their supporters saying Newcastle provided Derby with 4 of their 11 points in the worst PL season ever seen.

2-1 up with 10 minutes to play at Old Trafford 😂
