Skyline

If we could attract some big retail names to the city it would be an ideal weekend destination.

When you add this type of attraction in with the arena and of course the beaches on out door steps.

It’ll never happen but a tram from the centre to mumbles would also be superb.🤔

We had one.😔

They should absolutely move in that direction. Shopping is fucked in most towns and cities now, so they should change direction.

If we could transform the Quadrant in to the same as they have in Cardiff (St Davids shopping centre), Cabot Circus in Bristol it would be a positive for the city.

Swansea should remodel itself completely, to a dining and entertainment centre.make the most of its seaside location as well.

There's so much potential in this city, just a shame those in charge ether can't see it or take too long to make things happen.

The new owners of the Quadrant have plans apparently, including what to do with the massive unit that Debenhams was in.

I'm with Neath_Jack though, it needs to be dining and entertainment focused. Swansea city centre didn't have enough footfall to attract the big retailers even before the rise of out of town and internet shopping, so no chance now.

New owners are the same who turned Parc Tawe around so there's hope they'll get it right.

With additions like the arena and this zip line (if it gets built) give us the opportunity to attract footfall to a shopping centre if we have bigger names.

Let's be honest the likes of Debenhams and Next, hardly excite the average shopper when you have the likes of John Lewis and the now defunct House of Fraser along with many others such as Hugo Boss in Cardiff.

I've never understood why we have so much sea front, and done virtually fvck all with it, bizarre.
