i'm watching the welsh boy on the i player, Mcgill v Clarke, both not very good, but I hope he beats the ginge.

True, I couldn't believe the decision McGill made earlier, Clarke was well and truly snookered think it was behind the green, and Clarke made a miss, and instead of selecting to put the ball back in same position, McGill, played a rubbish safety shot.

The referee didn’t call a miss so McGill couldn’t ask him to replay the shot. There is no miss rule on a player when the other player requires snookers.

Ah right, Watching on I player on pc , with no sound really, surely that was a miss though, seen shots like that called a miss, countless times.

Just noticed the point you make about the no miss rule, that may be it.. thanks

The hooha yesterday obviously affected Clarke more than McGill. Deliberate tactic by the more experienced player?
