• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

On Saturday afternoon, Margaret requested and received a Covid test after experiencing symptoms.

After taking the test but prior to receiving her test result, she travelled to London (from Scotland) by train on Monday morning. She spent all day engaging with a range of people (MPs, police, civil servants etc) and attended parliament the same day. She even made a speech thanking the NHS workers for their efforts thus far.

On Monday evening she received a positive Covid test result. She then travelled home on Tuesday on a public train. Throughout Tuesday she continued to engage in public events, including meeting a chief inspector from a local police force.

Today (Thursday) she has decided to notify everyone via Twitter that she's had Covid since at least Monday and may have very well infected hundreds or even thousands throughout the week.

Here are some of Margaret's comments after Cummins decided to take a private car to travel home whilst experiencing symptoms:

"His position is untenable and he must be removed from his post now."

“The fact that Boris Johnson and senior Tories have backed Dominic Cummings, in the face of widespread and understandable public anger, demonstrates a total failure of leadership at a time of national crisis."

“The public health advice is crystal clear. For the safety of others, anyone with coronavirus symptoms must self-isolate, in line with government guidance. They should not leave the house for any reason."

Remarkably, Nicola Sturgeon has tonight said she will leave the matter to the police. She also said she'll have a chat with Margaret to tell her that she has "let herself down".

It is no wonder Scotland is doing such a poor job at managing the Covid pandemic.

Her actions were completely unacceptable and highly irresponsible. She should be sacked from any discetionary position she holds within the SNP.
Just like Dominic Cummings....err...wasn't.

Eh, Dwight?

I'd run that gauntlet

What?

Think about it ........

Anyway, another example of why these people who are elected to serve should not be put on pedestals. She is obviously quite thick.

Teeth like a row of headstones.

She should be handed the maximum fine possible and made an example of.

Incredibly thick at best, there is only one cause of action

The bit that gets me is why there are calls for her to resign, she should have been sacked immediately, no need for a resignation

Sacked from what, Phil? The only people who can remove her as an MP unless she resigns, I would have thought, is her constituents.

(Still waiting for your answer on Cummings, Dwighty boy! )

Surely she can be sacked by her party ? (Sorry that may be a stupid question!)

The party can kick her out, I think they might have, but they can’t take away her seat - she has to do that herself.
