So from the feedback I'm getting from the other site, and this is not a debate about individuals and the other site, it seems its been reported that the club won't sack Sheehan as the board doesn't want to be seen as as club who keeps sacking a manager ever season and won't spend the money.

So where does that leave us? Do we get behind him, irrelevant of results and performances? Or are we underestimating how ruthless the new owners are? My thinking is it will take us to drop in bottom 3 for anything to happen.

I actually do want Sheehan to succeed, but he has not shown me anything to say he can get us up the table.

If we're about 3 points away from the relegation places by Christmas he'll be gone, our highest spend since our premier league days and we're fighting to stay in the league, he'll be gone.. even if he didn't spend a penny he'd probably get sacked flirting with the trap door

No rose coloured spectacles here, despite a supposed decent summer window - I think there it was mostly a case of never mind the quality, feel the width ( And some existing players eg Ronald, Eom, Cullen, Fulton are in the same category)

Unfortunately, the reality is we are still a mid table average squad, playing some tedious football a lot of the time. I don't think changing Sheehan will make a significant difference.
