• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

So what's the plan!

I am just not seeing anything here, atleast I could see something with previous management but I get the feeling that Duff is caught up with wanting to play his way but feeling the pull to still keepva bit of the previous style.

Our defence is bad and it's not helped with just one holder in front of them in midfield, we need to have 2 holders in there.
They formation needs to change and Duff needs to start go with a plan and stick with it, his current style is to narrow up top, too open in midfield and defenders getting pulled out all over the place.

It's ironic that we had more control with four at rhe back but conceded from the only two chances they had in the second half

It’s pretty simple, press them high and hope they cough the ball up, simple but shite, we’re just any other side now…sad!!

The only 11 people on Earth who knew what we were trying to today all played for Bristol City, unfortunately.
Our players body language spoke a thousand words.

There isn't one yet. That's been clear from the start. Chuck 11 players on the pitch and see how they get on.

Go to the Winchester, have a nice cold pint, and wait for all this to blow over! 😂

As Bertrand Russell once said, "the only thing that will redeem mankind is cooperation." I think we can all appreciate the relevance of that now.

According to Mr Duff earlier in the week, we needed to put together the good parts from WBA and B'Muff. I think the players misunderstood - we took the bad parts instead.

His latest message is that we need to be more aggressive with and without the ball. Yeah, that'll fix it. Nothing about passing better, keeping the ball better, moving better, etc.

So the plan is, run hard, tackle hard, win headers. That'll be enough, surely.

The bloke is a dinosaur, he should never have been given the gig.
