West Brom plan talks with Swans boss Williams

If Williams goes, it'll make no difference.

Grimes runs this club. He's the problem.

He's got the greatest gig on earth. For 6 years he's been allowed to turn up every 3 days and stat pad his passing stats, he gets to wear the captain's armband without doing any actual captaincy stuff, he isn't expected to score or create goals despite being a midfielder, and to top it all off he's now been given the additional ego trip of doing team talks at HT and FT.

We could bring in the bastard offspring of Shankly, Busby, Paisley and Ferguson and nothing is going to change until that bloke is kicked out of the club.

The evidence by now is simply too much to ignore.

Well I'm sorry, but the evidence is mounting. And also compelling.

What message do you think it sends out to our defenders today when they concede four calamitous goals and Grimes simply shrugs his shoulders and turns his back? He should have been in their faces after the first one, never mind the ones that followed.

What captain worth their salt puts up with that, and says nothing?

I'll tell you - a captain who knows he'll never be dropped no matter what, and is so powerful he's now even doing the team talks.

I don't disagree and have never thought he sjould be captain, but certainly dint think he runs the club.

He hasn't got the character/personality for that

Seems to be very apparent now.
Unfortunately he seems to have a safety net.
