Exactly the same experience for me at Bristol last week, Darren.
We were told to sit in our ticketed seats by the stewards, no choice
Surrounded by teen yobos who spent the whole game gesturing at the Bristol hardcore away to our left, no interest in the match.
The stewarding at Ashton Gate was awful and I had the same experience trying to get to allocated row. I gave up and had loads of room on the bottom right hand corner

I haven't forgotten my roots, mate. I didn't behave like that in my teenage years, neither did my peers in Glanafan Comprehensive School, Port Talbot.

I'm not saying it's all their fault, a large part of it is 14 years of Tory austerity, when everything youngsters and wider society relied on has been shot to shit - schools, youth clubs, apprenticeships, job opportunties, university and student financing, social security, local authority housing, the justice system, yes even policing.
This type of thing has been going on forever, it’s got very little to do with 14 years of anything.

You don’t strike me as the type to frequent the Railway or the Garibaldi from our Vetch days.

So we're just going to pretend it's a "modern" thing are we, and that we don't remember coked up Swans fans fighting each other on the concourse at Nottingham Forest back in 2005/6 then?

Come off it. It's not a modern yob thing, it's been happening for decades. Not just our fans, all clubs.
Yup. It’s just that our generation has been replaced by the next one doing much the same thing. That never lands well.

Why do they go?
From kick off all they want to do is goad the opposition fans.
Didn’t watch any of the game at all.
Not even the first half.
Read this forum for years and today's the day I've felt like I have to post, your the most toxic poster on here and you complain about fans that have spent money to travel and do as they please.. stop being controversial and bitter and concentrate on yourself.. the way things have been lately the fans showing up, especially youngsters being lil sh*ts and doing what we all did once upon a time is the least of our worries.. shall we just all sit at home and bitch about a bunch of lads letting their hair down (no arrests) so worthy of a thread than talk about the players and the main issues

No I won’t. They’re a fucking embarrassment.

Just like yourself, never positive, always sarcastic and cocky like you run the forum.. news flash fans will spend their money and continue enjoying, believe it or not not everyone likes a prawn sandwich and water like yourself, stop turning on your own and turn your negativity towards the pitch

As I just said I won’t and if you don’t like it tough.
They didn’t support the club today even when we were 2-0 up and they didn’t turn any negativity to the pitch because the minute the whistle went they turned around and left.
They’re a sad bunch of twats that bring nothing to our football club.

And by the way I have no idea what you mean by never positive you’ll have to enlighten me.

The people today were in their 50’s and it’s sad as fuck to see.
I’m 100% certain that if you were there to see it you’d agree.
It was absolutely awful.
Ah well in that case I agree. Sad old men trying to relive what they see as their glory years. You see it all over the internet every day.
