But it would be great having an away day to the Tottenham Hotspur’s Stadium for our fans. Although we never seem to beat Spurs. I remember watching us beat them in 1991 with Jimmy Gilligan Scoring the winner in front of 11,000 fans at the Vetch.
…and therefore for the replay, we went to White Hart Lane…

Considering that they were hapless last season and arguably their season was only saved by winning the Europa final against Man Utd it feels like this situation has been on the cards for some time.

Mental to think they were in a champions league final not so long ago. It's bizarre how they can fiddle themselves in this position for a second season in a row.

Still think a club of their size to get relegated what be one heck of a shock

I agree and there will be plenty of teams looking to pick them apart if they go down as the vultures always do
The hubris of Levy and his contribution to the demise of Spurs as a club cannot be overstated
If people thought Huw had grown to believe his own hype then he had nothing on Daniel Levy

Spurs are bottom of the league on form over the last 6 games with just 2 points from 18 on offer

You can see why they are bottom of the form league, they are gutless.

On the note of the champions league final, look at the difference between them and Liverpool. The clubs are polar opposite when it comes to how they are run.

They get Liverpool next while Forest get Fulham. Forest could be above them at that point. Next up is against each other. Forest could be 5 points ahead of them with 7 games to go. That will be a big decider if Forest win

Spurs have a friendly run in but so too do Leeds, Forest and West Ham. So no gain there.

No we went to White Hart Lane for the second leg and Lineker was back from injury and we lost 5-1 I think. That replay you talked about was before my time.
Ah yes, crossed wires 👍. I was replying to the ‘we never seem to beat Spurs point, as it’s immortalised in our club song.

1978, was at the home 2-2, league Cup 2nd round, hoddle had a late winner ruled out
Cracking ‘goal’ that was too. Left foot curler from the right hand edge of the box. I thought that was curtains; I had no idea why it was disallowed. I thought we were done anyway having to go there. Great days.

It was indeed , a balmy, sunny Tuesday night if I remember, extra security approaching the vetch too. Don't know why I recall that as I can't remember what I had for breakfast yesterday, but yep, great days
