• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

I tell you what is distressing, seeing ICU Dr's in Wales, taking to Twitter and begging anyone with ICU working experience to contact them ASAP to go help them out. Surely that strikes home, even with the numpties out there.

Yep been telling a certain naysayer on here a similar very true story that hospitals are at bursting point with covid patients but I got shotdown big style.

Case numbers starting to drop in Wales thankfully. Hopefully that’ll keep up and ease the pressure on the hospitals. Amazes me that the ā€œlockdowns don’t workā€ types either don’t understand the purpose of them or choose to wilfully ignore the purpose because freedoms or something.

Radio Wales reporting this afternoon that there had been 4,000 infections in Wales in the past 48 hours.

I have seen it at over 3,000 for a 24 hour period, so perhaps it is falling, I tell you what mind looking at the number of tests carried out for that 48 hour period, near on 37,000, makes me wonder if the same amount of tests were carried out in say September, what kind of numbers would have been coming back positive.

Yes, it was up at 3000 per day last week and the week before so that represents a small reduction. Only time will tell if it’ll be sustained

Unbelievable down there, and the queue outside Greggs with no social distancing or wearing of face masks was simply mind boggling

What? That is the actual documented timeline. Rules were eased on the 8th May. The fact it took you 20 mins to reply shows you've been looking it up and you couldn't find anything to deny what I said. Give it up, you're not very good at this.
Took 20 minutes to look it up šŸ˜‚ I’m not looking anything up , you clown 🤔 šŸ˜‚
Instead of you looking things up , maybe you should go and see a doctor, you obviously have memory issues. The lockdown did not end on May 8 and to say so is completely wrong and makes you look like a tit šŸ˜‚

I don’t care if you’re right or wrong, history tells me you usually wrong, but by fuck you’re funny sometimes. It felt longer than six weeks to me so it probably felt like longer to you but can you post anything to dispute it?
