• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Have to say if Fulton had put in the past few performances that Stamenic has then he would have been hung, drawn and quartered.

What does he do?

When he came off the bench for his debut he wanted the ball, and did things with it. Haven’t seen that since.

A piano mover, not a piano player.

Alongside more creative options he could do a decent ball winning job, just as Fulton does. We asked more than he's capable of providing today.

Seemed to have had a few good games when first came to us. But has dipped a bit. Not sure if it's down to fitness, injury etc. I think with Fulton it's that he has been with us for so long and never really shown much. Stamenic will have more time and opportunities. How that turns out, know one knows.

The whole point of a player like Stamenic is to fly under the radar, do the less glamours stuff and let the others get on with it.

I think he often gets left with too much work to do as a single pivot, needs a bit more support in midfield. On the ball he is brilliant for me, lovely ball over the top for the penalty. Young player who is still getting used to the level but has undeniable quality.

Will not apportion any blame to Stamenic today, Sheehan got it completely wrong pairing him with Franco, it was all sweat no silk. Chuck into the mix they had Cullen just ahead of them doing the square root of nothing before getting hooked, and it was a recipe for what we got. Nothing.

Yet many are still defending Sheehan.....he is a nice guy and got us out if trouble last season but Im not sure he is the man to take us forward.
His team today yet again showed his flawed decision making.
We are at home and he set out with a defenaive midfield with Cullen ahead of it ,leavimg Galbraith and Yalcoue on the bench and Widdel nowehere to be seen.

Today was the first time I've been truly disappointed in him since he took charge. But I'm not climbing any bandwagon to put him under pressure, not interested. He's done a fine job since taking charge, and we're light years ahead of where we were under the three frauds who preceded him.

Im not sure if Sheehan can take us to the next level. But I am happy to be in safe pair of hands for this season. If it means we look to another manager in the next year or 2 then so be it. I will defend Sheehan to give him a chance, but he has calmed things down and maybe that's where my mindset is. It's like being in bad relationships, for years and then we settle for one who is stable. But can they get the blood going? Who knows.

He has a 48% win rate after 25 games, the majority of those wins with a bang average squad.

Give the man a break, he needs time not people like your jumping all over him because we failed to beat one of this season promotion candidates.

I have been saying this before today and my opinion is not based in results but on his decision making....look at my precious post.
This season he has a 33% win rate with a much improved squad.
