Results wise you can’t fault his record. He’d have made a far better fist of keeping Leicester up than any of the other promoted teams in the last couple of years (think they were outside the bottom 3 when he was sacked?)

Won’t be easy to win the league though, they’ve only won it once in 20 years. Cracking city Copenhagen mind 👌

All the very best to one of our bestest managers in quite some time.

A real pragmatist who did his best to get the very best out of the highly talented squad he attracted to our club. Got to within a whisker of elevating us to the Next Level, fair play. And a proper proper decent bloke.

Winning, effective, efficient footy is always entertaining to those of us who Joio and expect to win.

I’m off to Copenhagen next month for a works jolly. Be my first time to Denmark.

I’ll keep my eye out for him 😂

Never been. Back in UK soon and an anniversary. Would like to travel to Copenhagen for a break. Keen to know what to do, including watching Brondby.

Depending on the time of year and what they have on this is definitely worth a visit - evening, under lights best IMO

Harbour area is nice - jump on a boat and do a canal tour.

Hans Christian Anderson experience is quite quirky but make sure you go when it’s quiet - you are basically in someone’s house!

As Neath Jack said it’s not the place for a week long piss up unless you’re loaded 😂

Brondby’s ground is about half hour out from the centre. Easy on the train though. Decent stadium and the supporters bar is very old school with all the trophies and hundreds of random club pendants on display.

Not cheap but if you’re going to travel a bit and there for a few days it’s worth considering buying this:

(There are some nice chilled out places to visit that are included on there about an hour out)

*this could all be way out of date as it was a decade ago I went there!

Surprised you didn’t mention Christiana. This is definitely a must.

A few years ago we visited Copenhagen for 5 days, then took a train to Stockholm for another 5.
Fantastic places both. If we were younger and didn't have the family ties we'd love to relocate to Scandinavia.
