• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Weren’t Keefe and Penney treated as though they didn’t count?

Faked board meeting notes stated the men had voluntarily resigned - a condition for the takeover to go ahead - but Mr Jenkins later admitted the meeting had "likely" never actually happened

https://www.itv.com/news/wales/2018-07-10/swansea-city-ordered-to-pay-108k-in-compensation-for-unfairly-sacking-two-directors

Having worked in industry and not being of a business background it absolutely baffles me that the chairman of a multi million pound business can forge and then sign off fake board meeting minutes and not have any comebacks.
In fact it’s absolutely staggering.

Swansea's Supporters' Trust - which has a 21.1% stake in the club - is aware of the boardroom changes, although no reason for Kaplan's departure from the boardroom has been given.

The Trust seem as divorced (pointless?) from the board as ever. https://www.swanstrust.co.uk/2020/10/06/trust-statement-on-steve-kaplan/ Aware of the changes on Company's House (aren't we all), haven't really spoken to anyone, obviously weren't consulted before. Doesn't provide much confidence that can represent the fans or have any influence at all.

TBF does the Trust consult the consortium when their officers change?

Have the consortium got shares in the Trust then? Dull twat.

No because that is a different thing - Trust board members are elected by the membership

However there is a process of needing club approval to change the Supporter Director so in the face of your question which is where you are coming from the answer is a resounding YES.

Good to know he's still a cunt.

He must have a short memory. After all he worked on a board that had Don Keefe and Steve Penney on it - neither of whom were shareholders.

Neither was Trevor Birch.

Or do they not count

Dimfukwit has a short memory.
He worked on the Trustboard and fucked us up too
Or do we not count either?

I've never quite got my head around how a former chairman of the Trust could be so morally bankrupt. If you really think about it, then he was probably the biggest rotten apple in the barrel.

Awful isn’t it? He’s been on twitter tonight winding people up by saying how great it WAS putting money into the academy seeing the players in the Wales team.

WAS being quite apt too.
