If it were on in the summer I doubt it would get anywhere near the audience.

That’s why it’s not on in the summer. The same applies to pretty much every show.

Aren't you watching the T20 final?

I never realised he was who he was. Tidy guy who worked as a painter for Cyngor Sir Gar.BrynCartwright said:As far as I am concerned Strictly can do one.. Complete load of shite.. Give me the darts on ITV4 anytime. Pontyberem boy Clayton chucking some great stuff.

Each to their own.
You're probably right J, it's me, I've just fallen out of love with tv, can't really get into anything, probably spend more time on YouTube to be fair. The missus does Netflix, and we've only got Freeview, most nights the tv is playing to itself in the corner.JackSomething said:Jack2jack said:To be fair, me and the missus used to enjoy a bit of SCD. What's funny is there's almost certainly more brilliant TV around now than ever before, with the rise of 'prestige television' from the late 90's onwards. It's been increased by all the new players in the market over the last few years spending big money, like Netflix, Amazon, Apple, Disney...
Having so many people making and broadcasting so much content, the problems are that the good and great stuff can sometimes be missed in amongst the incredible amount of other new shows that are either average or shite and are just there to fill a gap in the schedule. Having all the content spread across various subscription based providers also doesn't help if you want to watch everything (or as close to that as possible).
It's a far cry from only having 4 or 5 channels to choose from to be sure and it's harder for something to become the kind of show that get's everyone talking about it, but the best stuff is better than ever.
