Lowe or Piroe, who would you start up front.

For me Piroe. Just more movement and has more confidence. Plus he can find back of the net.

Lowe is a useful backup. Lacking movement and confidence.

Piroe everyday and if there were any takers I’d get rid of Lowe… he’ll never fit Russell
Martin’s style

I dont think Lowe or Cullen will be up to it unfortunately. Russell ready said Whittaker can leave.

I hope there is another incoming striker for back up, but Piroe certainly looks a step up from what we already have.

Would like to see Joseph start the cup game, see if he can backup Piroe.

Finding someone to play with Piroe and Paterson up front and adding a center back who is comfortable on the ball look like the biggest priorities right now.

Benefit of Piroe is that he looks capable of dropping deeper and playing behind a central striker too.

He needs to be treated as our ‘number 9’ for the next few league games, this will allow RM to further establish his view on the player and to quash any concerns that may be lingering from his early days in Wales. I’d probably start one of the others in the Plymouth game and give Piroe the last twenty minutes or so.

Still only 22 years old, a great future with us lies ahead I hope.

I agree that he should be given a starting place in the league matches and let him continue to develop.

Others have been given opportunities and for various reasons have not nailed on the position.

If Bidwell leaves ( I dont want him to) perhaps Lowe will drop to left wing.

I think Russell still had his eye on signing a striker so the flexibility / work ethic of Piroe to support would work.

Piroe scored 2 in 3 league matches for us, Cullen scored 2 in over 20 league matches.

I would not be disappointed if Piroe does end up as our main striker but feel we do need another option up front in the squad.

If he’s going to persist with wing backs and 2 midfielders behind a single striker, I can’t see where Lowe fits in. He seems better in a 2 up front or out on the wing. We could play our old 433 with Paterson and Lowe on the wings, but doesn’t look like happening.

As it is, Piroe every time for me. He’s a natural striker, Lowe isn’t as much as Cooper tried to persuade him and us otherwise.
