Summer Transfer Window

Low is one that might well happen, he is out of contract this summer if I recall correctly.
Kyprianou is in a similar situation

No doubts this summer we will try to move on Yates and Kukharevych, neither seems to be fancied by the club at this time and while Yates's goals have been crucial in keeping Derby up this season he doesn't feel like the right fit for us (or at least he wasn't under Duff or Williams).

As others have said in other threads I also wouldn't be surprised if we listened to offers for Cullen, this season was his career best goals tally but we all know he isn't a lone striker and the formation we like to play has one up top. It doesn't suit his skill set where he seems to play best as either a number 10 in the hole or as a second striker.

Up top is where we have to get it right next season, could that be Vipotnik if he is getting consistent game time and confidence? The jury is out but in my eyes he would be worth 15 or so goals a season if he started consistently

Wouldn’t surprise me if we try getting something back on Bianchini as well, what a waste of nearly 3M

I think theres a player in there, but he has been used as a centre forward and not as a winger for so long it looks like he lost his touch out on the flanks.
Dont think Bianchini has been given a fair chance to impress. Barely plays, most of time as 9 and he is not. Fast so suprised he hasnt got a lot more opportunity as the winger he is even if just subbing.

Hope we keep Ginelly. He hasnt had the chance to show what he can do either

But we have got Widdell coming in as a winger, sometimes 10, so what do you do

The big concern for me this summer is the m/f and def. Possibility of losing Obrien, Allen & Franco in m/f. No cover for Key, Tymon. No 3rd center half and possibility of darling leaving.

So any addition beyond Widdell up front, for me, will just be bonus signing.

Has Ginnelly had another injury? Hasn’t had much game time at all since coming back and he’s out of contract this summer I believe.

All Players gone this summer. In my opinion.

1. Pederson
2. Christie
3. TJoe
4. Yates
5. Kukharevych
6. Fisher
7. McCoughlan
8. Hannes
9. Darling
10. Lewis OB
11. Ginnelly

I think Fulton needs to go as well and Cullen. Cullen has never found his position and place. If club comes in for 1 Million. Then take it. On his day he is good, but that's not much. If he wasn't a local lad then we would want him out sooner. I don't think he will go though.

has 1 more year on contract, i saw he was playing an under 21 game about 2 weeks ago, so dont know injury, or still bringing him along from the original injury
From what I hear it's taking longer for him to recover from the injury hence the under 21. Personally I would get rid of him this summer. It's another Walsh situation and it's been what year and a bit out?

Cullen only has a future here as an impact sub 2nd striker, he isn't good enough up top on his own and as a 10.. I'd keep him just so he can poach a few goals and press teams as an impact sub

That's it. We tried him wide. Didn't work. Up front doesn’t work. Number 10 is slightly better and ironically gulp, played better under Williams cos he copied Bellamy. Let's face it. Get a quality 10 and if we get a good striker and if VP improves, Cullen will be limited. Sheehan is clearly trying to find the answer in VP and Cullen but it's not working. I would give VP mire time and if we bring a striker in then both will be better then Cullen.

Sheehan has used Fulton regularly so I suspect those desperately hoping that he goes might end up disappointed. Bianchini deserves more game time than he's had but AS doesn't seem all that fussed so he might end up departing. I've never much rated Cullen and purple patch around Christmastime aside he's not been up to much. Certainly not good enough as a lone striker, maybe a reserve #10.

Oli Cooper is another who might be moved out. I like him as a late sub to chase and harry and he's a wholehearted, bleed for the cause type, but he's not really shown anything like the level of genuine ability to be a worthwhile creative option.

I hope to see Fulton moved on but like you I suspect we might struggle to find anyone willing to pay anything for him.

Bianchini was signed as a winger who can pitch in as a forward but was used by Williams almost exclusively as a forward. The problem is that its a different mindset compared to playing on the wing, you don't have to play on the shoulder of the last man all the time and sometimes the pass out to you gets delayed - its much easier to see if you are offside but also much easier for a linesman to see if you are offside too. There are instincts that dull that need to be resharpened if he is to play in that position properly

Cullen I also agree that right now its hard to see what position he wants to play in. The saving grace is his relatively low age and a season where he has scored 10 goals and 3 assists in 41 games (a goal involvement of more or less 1 per 3 games) - decent enough stats that plenty of sides may take a punt on him.

I also agree about Cooper, he had an excellent breakout season under Martin where he played alongside Piroe but after his big injury he was never the same player. Right now he is all heart and energy but has fluffed his lines every time that he has had an opportunity to add some final product to his game with an assist or a goal

Like me? I suspect Sheehan will probably try to keep him around instead of trying to move him on. Fulton's a useful player, even if quite a lot of our support don't think so.
