Summer Transfer Window

I think we need a quality number 9.. this was evident all season. Vip for me doesn't do enough.. Cullen is better playing deeper arriving late and Wales is unproven
I agree, but given that there are bigger priorities elsewhere, can we afford another striker? Only if Cullen leaves for a decent fee.

Can we afford not to?

As it stands, on the first day of preseason we'll have Cullen, Vip, Yates and Kuk. None of them are first choice strikers suitable for a 46-game Championship season. We will struggle for goals if that's all we've got.

You might keep one or two of them as backup perhaps, but at least two need to go and someone decent needs to come in instead.

Ricky Jade Jones leaving Peterborough as he didn’t renew his deal there, worth a punt for a squad player? 22 so plenty of development left in him.

We was linked to Nmecha before didn’t have great spells in the Championship but seems have to developed abit since then.

had 1 year at preston when he was 19/20 scored 3 in 40 so

but his style of play looks interesting with versatility thrown in

Style of play

Nmecha's main position is as a centre forward, but he is also able to play as a winger on either side. He is known for being comfortable with both feet and for his first touch and finishing ability. Nmecha described that he also likes to use his pace to run at defenders.[34]

lmao yeah first one I looked, left him out cos usa players find it difficult in prem/championship, but he was the only other I thought about putting in the post

What was a surprise is players 25 and under there's hardly anything outside those 3 worth looking at, so we are gonna have to spend for a new no 9

They will also be looking at players with contracts running out in a years time. These players can be sourced slightly cheaper than their market value.

Quick look with 1yr left

Damian Downs
Jusef Erabi
Richie Omorowo

Downs looks very interesting and looks like he could get a WP. He does have American ancestry 😁
We need to realise that we are looking for potential so we are not looking to be signing(realistically) strikers who are already hitting 20 goals a season.

You’re warming up nicely now Daps, and with the new posters here suggesting random names as well, you may have to up your game 💪🏻🤣

good morning every one, before we look at who is to come in our budget has to be sorted, guys who have left or leaving will ensure we have at least some wage cash to spare but the biggest thing for me is does Mr Dalling stay, that wil/ could determine who we can afford?
I was under the impression he had been given a deadline of this week to say yea or ney

Players we need:

Wingers - sorted, with Inoussa, Eom, Ronald, Parker and Bianchini. We may want to let Bianchini go out on loan, with Congreve then a bench option.

Number 9 - assuming Yates and Kukharevych leave then with Wales, Vipotnik and Cullen we're probably Ok. If Cullen leaves as well then another striker will be required.

Number 10 and 8 - sorted, with Widell, Eom, Franco, Cullen, Cooper and possibly Cotterill (although he's probably better off on loan at league one level).

Number 6 - Definitely need an addition here to go with Fulton, ideally two. An experienced player, such as O'Brien would be ideal. The second, should be mainly for the future, in the Wales mould.

Full backs - definitely need at least one addition to provide cover for Tymon and Key, whose contracts we need to extend. The two Parkers could provide additional cover.

Centre backs - definitely need two, three if Darling goes. Low plus an experienced backup option would be good. Lissah probably needs a loan.

Goalie - sorted if Fisher stays.

So a bare minimum of 4 further players needed: a 6, full back and two centre halves.
Wales can play on the left as could Widdell
