Summer Transfer Window

Sorry, can't agree with that.
He's been at Luton for 1 season & made 28 appearances for them- it would have been far more but he was sent off 3 times so missed around 7 games due to suspension. He also started a good number of those games & played 90 minutes for them a number of times.
He may have played 20 games
for us 2 seasons ago but how many minutes did he play?
In 3 seasons he rarely started & never played 90 minutes.
He played 35 times for Cov the season before he signed for us.
Can't be bothered to look at minutes played but there's no comparison.
Our fitness team really have some questions to answer.

He didn't play a lot of minutes because the managers preferred to play other players ahead of him, so many of his appearances were as substitute, whereas a Luton side who were relegated started him a lot more than us. All that says is that we had better options than Walsh. If we'd needed him to play more minutes, he could have.

That Coventry season was the only one in his career that he stayed fit for an entire season. Most other seasons he didn't even reach double figures. Injury prone players will have the odd season or two where they're lucky and they don't suffer any serious injuries. The idea that we somehow 'broke' him is bonkers.

Sorry but that is blatant revisionism

All of the managers that we had would have loved to use Walsh more often, his qualities were on full display when he smashed in that 25 yard worldie a few games before the end of his final season under us. The boy's problem was that he was horrifically injury prone and never able to stay fit for more than a few games at a time.

This didn't seem to be a problem for Luton or for his club before us where he clocked up 30+ appearances for each
Does our medical team have questions to answer?

Possibly but to suggest that he didn't play because we had better when his competition at the time was the likes of Jay Fulton, Oli Cooper, Luke Cundle etc is madness
