Summer Transfer Window

Spurs had a dreadful season in the prem and their squad needs a rebuild. If it wasn't for the EL win there would be big changes at Spurs including the manager.

There probably will need a host of additions needed to compete in the CL and gain a top 6 finish next season.

I would be surprised if Spurs take the year extension option on Ben considering he is now a back up player and in his 30's

Maybe Modric has some input to attract Davies back to replace Darling and show real intent to push on as a club.

Financials will play a huge part but the wider outcome could outweigh the initial investment.

I'm not so sure about Ben. Great player for sure, but his best position is as LCB in a back three. He isn't quick enough as a left back or quick and tall enough as a left sided centre back in a back 4. I wouldn't grumble if he were to join, but I'm not sure he would be a good fit. In any event I see him going to a lower PL side.

He already is at lower prem side 😉

Spurs are 17th. There aren’t any lower PL sides to go to.

This one doesnt seem accurate but could be

Vincent Aboubakar has been invited to train with The Swans according to transfermkt with a rating of 50% of joining us and a 45% chance of joining Zamalek in the Egyptian prem lge

We tried to sign him in 2017 in Premiere. Not sure how accurate this rumor is but it is showing as May 19th this year on transfermkt with the player not having a club right now. 33yrs of age

Knows where the net is despite his age he’d be a good signing for a year contract his experience could be vital, and I’d bet he’d get double figures in this league.

Interesting link.

He is certainly experienced and seems to still know where the net is. If he was attainable at a wage within our structure then it's something I wouldn't see as a bad move.

There seemed to be issues over the last few years between him and his clubs, anyone know what this was?

Looks like another Gomis to me
Plenty of goals but firmly looking after number 1 too so wouldn't come cheap
Not played in UK I see

Pointless fact:
I watched Zamalek v Suez Cement in Cairo in 2007. For some reason there were more police/army at the game than supporters.
Still have a Zamalek shirt somewhere

Tom Tweedy linked. Burnley youth player who joined them from Penybont. He did a swim away celebration few weeks ago at legoland after he scored again their u21s.
