I'd go as far as to say everyone does, in any walk of lifeTrue. But most of them do.

Not talking about a player playing past a certain age, talking about said player moving up to another level, Tozier moved down as do most players as they ageThere are countless examples in the lower leagues of centre halves who play into their mid thirties. Ben Tozer, of Wrexham, has just retired aged 35. I'm surprised that anyone would argue the point. It's a well established truism that centre halves peak later and generally have longer careers, because their position doesn't involve the same amount of sprinting as say a full back.
Depends what you do I suppose. For a footballer in a career for which moving round a lot comes with the territory I agree. But the next level for me in my job would likely mean moving to London or at least being up there two or three days a week for about an extra 10% a year. No interest in that.I'd go as far as to say everyone does, in any walk of life![]()

Go for it. I spend too much time up there as it is. Be wary of expenses though. If you took a job that’s based up there they won’t pay relocation expenses or out you up in hotels for two or three days a week. That’s the difference between travelling on “official business” and it being your base. It's odd. I refuse to apply for stuff that would mean driving to Neath, Ammanford or Llanelli every day but the prospect of two or three days a week in London (on expenses) wouldn't bother me at all.

I’d quite happily never go to an office again but for some reason they insist on it.For sure. Location is a big deal for me.
As it stands it takes me eight minutes on foot to get to work every day. That's a big benefit, even if the job itself has grown tiresome. I'd prefer a hybrid role that I can do from my current location if I can get one, but a bit of travel wouldn't be a bother.
