Summer Transfer Window

To be fair Williams' game plan was very much focussed on getting the balls out to the wings, which gave Ronald plenty of opportunities. I expect a more varied approach under Sheehan, so Ronald may get fewer opportunities.

Ronald might come into his own as a wingback, but I don't see us playing that way under Sheehan.
He had no chance to get past his full backwith the ball being a week late from midfield under Williams . Sheehan will actually suit him much better. Eyes over stats

Keith saying we're looking at a Danish defender.
Was watched yesterday - so that points to someone in the Danish u21's as they were playing France.
Wouldn't give any names.

If they played yesterday, it leaves us with four options.

Anton Gaaei - Ajax fullback, played nearly 60 times for them, valued at 7m Euros. Can almost certainly rule out.

Oliver Prostgaard - Lazio centre-half; signed in February on a deal until 2029. Would maybe be a possible loan?

Thomas Thiesson Kristensen - Udinese centre-half; linked with Spurs, made 25 Serie A appearances last season. No chance.

Victor Bak Jansen - Left back playing for Midtjyland. Two years on his contract, but Danish League isn't a hugely expensive place to shop. Confident this is the one.

Can you explain how we were second only to Coventry for crosses into the box? How come Vigouroux delivered more long balls than any other goalie? Inconvenient facts.

There's plenty of reasons to find fault with Williams' leadership, but let's ground any discussion in reality.

Jansen... Midtjyland is the same side that Milleskog who we were heavily linked with before plays for right?

Because the significant majority of our crosses came from Tymon who despite his perceived defensive frailties is one of the finest deliverers of the ball in the Championship, especially from relatively deep on the left flank his ability to hit the gap between the six yard line and the penalty spot so consistently is quite remarkable.

Eom actually put in more crosses per 90 than Ronald did last season

Love to know which site you are getting this from. Working on my fantasy footie team lol. Seriously

I wholeheartedly agree on the quality of Tymon. Ronald did deliver a lot of crosses all season, he just wasn't very accurate, 35 accurate crosses with a 19.8 per cent success rate. Eom 43 successful crosses at 35.2 per cent. Fewer crosses than Ronald, but more finding their target. Tymon 75 ( best in league) SCs, 28.2 per cent SR. Key 26, 23.4. So, Tymon was our most productive outlet (although those figures are inflated by set piece deliveries), with Eom better than Ronald with his superior accuracy.

What about the subs who came on and what about the U19 team that played a few days earlier

That table proves my point. It only shows games in the second half of the season, but in those alone Ronald delivered the highest number of crosses by him in a match (13, 9 and three 8s) all under Williams. He was averaging fewer crosses under Sheehan than under Williams.

Only defender that came on is Galatasaray's right back, worth £9m, signed him £6m last season. A big no, basically.

Supposedly was watched 'yesterday', meaning it has to be Under 21s
Subs. Yesterday. Ok Cool. I missed the yesterday bit. My bad.

Actually just went and re-read it. It says watched this weekend. U19's played Thursday so probably is the U21 team

You couldn't see the top, that table is actually across the whole 24/25 season
