I’m sure the Key valuation and Boro interest comes from Nixon too, doesn’t get too many hits when it comes to us these days. Erhahon was close according to him and that was well over a month after we put in our initial bid and by all other accounts, ended our interest. I’d say this Key news is very unlikely. The only part I’d like to believe is the fact that we’re putting decent valuations on our players with not too much contract left.

Given that Hull are under an embargo and can't pay fees i'd say the post lacks any credibility, thankfully.

Got 22 in 68 games for Porto B who play in the Portuguese 2nd division. He has decent goalscoring records with England junior teams.

I suppose 4M is about right given his age, plays for Porto and has experience in the European competitions.

Turns 25 towards the end of the summer. 24 max is the limit when spending over a certain amount.

A weighting needs to be added to factor in the levels he’s played/playing at.
Richard Kone’s stats look fantastic and there’s talk of a massive bid, but he’s achieved that in a top 6 team in league 1.

For the first time in a while I am sure that whoever we are in for has been scouted thoroughly and will be of use to us. Only saying this given this summers transfers and the apparent competency of the new player recruitment model. If we are, great maybe he is a hidden gem with some great hidden metrics, if not then equally great as I am sure there are other targets.

Am inclined not to believe this until it happens. It would be a very under whelming new No 9. We've already brought Wales in as the player with potential. Bringing another with the same path, especially at that cost doesn't seem realistic. But the more I look into it, who knows, this might be one of Montagues left field gems.!!!

Only thing that makes me think that its all nonsense is that the reported fee is EXACTLY what his transfer value is stated at on the Transfermarkt website. Maybe a sloppy fake rumour in that case as they very rarely align?

I saw that too. Transfermkt value. Could imply what you say, or, it could be the journalist has no idea what value the deal is and the only value he has to go on is Transfermkt
