We’ll end up buying Bianchinni back on loanIm getting the dreaded feeling that we will end up with a panic barrel scrapping striker again just like last season only to off-load him in 2026 for peanuts
We signed Vipotnik on the 1st of August last year, so whatever else he is/was, he wasn't a panic buy.Im getting the dreaded feeling that we will end up with a panic barrel scrapping striker again just like last season only to off-load him in 2026 for peanuts
3M plus add onsKone is off to... QPR
No but it was barrel scrapping getting him on a free from a bankrupt club. All the decent players we go after are seemingly more often than not snapped up by teams that aren't as " big " as us.We signed Vipotnik on the 1st of August last year, so whatever else he is/was, he wasn't a panic buy.
Even if we go top end for a striker, he will likely be a player with potential in and around 23 with a modest scoring record.......similar to Piroe.Still waiting for news on Indys "worth the wait" Strikers we are apparently in for.... Vital also saying atm there's nothing to suggest the Yalcouye deal is off.
Oh I totally agree im not bothered about it being a top end striker, id be more than Happy if we find another Piroe banging in the goals without breaking the bank, personally I thought we would have gone back in for that Milleskog after the interest we showed, he seemed to fit that future potential mold,Even if we go top end for a striker, he will likely be a player with potential in and around 23 with a modest scoring record.......similar to Piroe.
There is nothing wrong with this approach, it's the market we are in and if we can discover another Piroe or even one half as good then we have done well.
