13 games to go

11 points clear

Huddersfield (22nd) have played 1 game less.

So if the 22nd placed team moves at an average of 1 point a game and we continue to lose, then our arse will be on the dotted line with 2 games to go.

At the current rate that Huddersfield are currently collecting points at (0.96), they would reach a final total of 43 points but we know that historically that is a low total for 22nd place.

In addition we expect an increase in pts from relegation threatened teams towards the end of the season that brings it closer to an average of 1 pt per game, if not a little higher (1.08 - 50 pts)

We have Cardiff, Rotherham, Wigan and Huddersfield to play so if we really are determined to initiate the motherfucker of all collapses, then it's all in our hands..

12 clear with 12 games to go.

Huddersfield have 13 left to play and at their current rate of 0.93 points, they would hit a total of 42 points.

Wigan and Blackpool have to play Burnley in their next two games as well. 50 points will be more than enough this season, that’s one win and a handful of draws which we can probably manage if we can coax a few red cards out of teams.

Thing is we might fluke some results, but the team at the moment doesn't have it in them to go out to get them on performances.

The gap isn't getting bigger and the games are winding down..

Blackpool in 22nd will get to 42 points if they maintain their ppg rate (0.91)

Wigan in 23rd will get to 43 points if they maintain their ppg rate (0.94)

We will get past 48 points.

Just been looking at the 3 points separating the bottom 6 clubs in the Premiership.

I can't see us getting more than another two or three points this season. Fisher is worth a goal start to the opposition, the defence is as fragile as spun sugar, team morale looks shot and I can't see where any change is coming from.

We are going to miss relegation by a point or two - if we're lucky.

I can’t honestly see where we are going to get a Big W, in the Win column?
Who would you want “In the trenches” besides you in this team, when your in a relegation battle?
I’d say the only one I can think of is Ollie Cooper.
Can you see Grimes giving his teammates a bollocking to get them up for it?
Plus we have a manager who hasn’t got a clue how to set up a defence, plus he keeps picking on of the most useless keepers I’ve seen in a a Swans shirt, then you get the picture

Those 3 points shamefully thrown away against Birmingham a few weeks ago would have changed the picture considerably but let's face it, the whole season is littered with far too many thrown away points with the home game against Millwall being another glaring example. There's 5 points for starters in just those 2 games.

Someone quote me on this but I’m sure we’ve conceded 8/9 times in the 85th plus minute this season.

It seems to me that getting rid of Martin now and simply appointing someone who can do the basics until the end of the season would be enough to get us the couple of wins and draws we need to stay up comfortably.

There's enough talent in the team (just), that simply stopping them farting about at the back and not keeping possession just for the sake of it should be enough to encourage an upswing in results.

We ain’t going down.

We need 2 wins from 11

We currently have 3 in 21 or so

In the worst case scenario the gap between us and the drop could only be 8 points come 6pm on Saturday.

They need to win a feckin game, somehow someway.

Ok then. We might go down.

I agree with JustJack, it only takes one of those three clubs currently languishing at the bottom to have a sudden surge in form, and we could be right in the brown, smelly stuff. Are you putting your faith in Flipper and that back line to keep our heads above water?
