It’s only two days since Barnsley said goodbye to Michael Duff and he arrived in SA1 but during that time he has shown that he will – as he requested – have a heavy backing of the supporters as detailed by our recent Twitter poll. More than 90% of the fans polled (over 700 at […]

Spoke to someone (well known ex pro with the swans). He said They are interested in some of the Newcastle players who have been released recently.

Bit premature that for me, let's wait and see how he does is it before we start sucking him off.

I don't think it's a case of 90% of fans wanting to suck him off, just giving him thier backing 👍

Yeah fair point, just reminds me of how many jumped on the Wuss wagon after a month and thought he was the second coming, I include myself it that category for the first six months.

Once bitten I guess.

Aye we were all drawn in by David Brent mate, I'm getting the vibe that Duff is a bit more of a "nuts and bolts" type manager than the bullshit merchant, here's hoping 💪💥

Yeah I watched his interview, as long as he doesn't talk the same amount of bullshit as Russ I can cope with him.

Longstaff, Ritchie & Clark are the only ones realistically, Ritchie and Clark being older heads over 30.

Yep, concur with most of the above. I can do without the fist pumping every time we manage a win. We've all been trapped into the billy bullshit dished out so can do without anymore nonsense thanks.
I guess the first 6/7 games will shape opinions...he'll need more of course, but if he can manage a derby win early on as well....gotta help.
Good luck Mr. Duff.

Can they do another poll after the trip to Spain, just in case like.

As long as he doesn’t celebrate after a win happy days.

I’m more optimistic with the appointment of this manager than I was with the previous.
Only time will tell.

Always remember taking four days out of my life in Germany about 8 years ago, we beat Borussia Mönchengladbach's reserve side 2-1 in basically a cow field, if my memory serves me right Ayew scored the winner

Did you take the home end jaxs ?

I think we need more experience and a basic earthy style of man management. Thiz division is tough to get out of and hard to survive. Warnock is a good example of this point. I am really please Southampton have stumped up I must have been completely wrong about Martin.

Duff has noted we have experienced players in the squad. Hopefully he listens to them.
