• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

The Swansea City Supporters’ Trust are pleased to announce an upcoming Fans Forum and Charity Fundraising Evening on Wednesday 11th June 2025 with doors opening at 5.45pm.

The first questions will be put to the panel at around 6.15pm.

The event is part of the Swans Trust and Swansea City FC’s commitment to regularly provide opportunities to directly engage with the Jack Army and is also being kindly supported on this occasion by Club partner Swansea Building Society.

We are also extremely grateful to the committee at Carmarthen Town AFC who have kindly agreed for us to hold the event at their clubhouse behind Richmond Terrace and details of how to find it are available HERE

All proceeds raised for this event will be shared equally between the two chosen charity organisations:

The GO Jones Academy Scholarship; and

Cwtsh Clos Appeal

Anyone wishing to make a donation towards the event can do so by clicking HERE or by scanning the QR code below

We have a confirmed panel of Swansea City FC representatives made up of:

Alan Sheehan – Head Coach

Tom Gorringe – Chief Executive Officer; and

Richard Montague – Director of Football

Kev Johns has kindly agreed to host the event and we are also grateful to Mal Pope for coming along as our special guest to support the Cwtsh Clos Appeal.

During the evening there will be various ways to help raise funds and there will also be items brought along that will be auctioned with all proceeds going towards the two charities.

Thanks to the generosity of Carmarthen Town AFC the event will take place in their upstairs function room and will be free to attend on a first come first served basis.

Tickets can be booked online HERE

If you have any accessibility requirements, please contact Swansea City as early as possible at accessibility@swanseacity.com

Drinks and snacks can be purchased on the evening and there will also be complimentary tea and coffee provided.

If anyone has any further questions, please get in touch with us at info@swanstrust.co.uk or the club at support@swanseacity.com
