• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

I remember back in October/November there was much rumoured that Morris and the other new owners had their own man in mind to take over the Swans. Will be interesting to see how much truth there is to that with the seemingly inevitable pressure finally about to break Coleman's resistance in sacking Williams.

My expectations:
Sheehan caretaker coach until end of the season
New man confirmed well before that with a watching brief so he can work with Montague on targets before the summer window opens

Let’s just remember he took 1 month to appoint a new manager last time.

I'm not convinced about Sheehan he didn't really set the world alight last time he stepped in

I am honestly fine with a new manager taking 1-2 months in our circumstance, Sheehan only needs to net another 2-3 wins to basically see us safe. I would rather a new coach has a couple of months to watch over the players from outside the tunnel vision of the touchline to see where our greater problems lie.

Whether we get better or not, I’m glad to see the back of him. He’s gash. I can’t see how we can be worse, but I’m too punch drunk to put any money on that. “Sheezy” has been part of the coaching throughout our backwards football era. I’d like to see the lot cleared out just to make sure and an outside interim, but money talks, and I do understand the language it speaks.
