• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

2 X decent signings especially O'Brien who will bring a bit of experience and forward drive from midfield.

I still fear the lack of attacking recruitment if not sourced tomorrow will be a big issue, little creativity will equal few goals....something that has been glaringly missing from day one this season.

We need to see a good 10 and a winger at least with O'Brien and Wright.

To be fair our biggest problem right now is a side crippled with low confidence.

There is only so many times the manager can publicly throw the side under the bus and label them pathetic before that turns into belief that it is true. We all know the player Ronald was when he first came to us and when you compare that to the player yesterday who had no conviction when played clean through on two separate occasions its night and day.

The side has creative elements, but what it has lacked is a stable base that will actually release the ball at the right time and find the progressive passes so that when we do beat the press that we don't just turn around and go straight back into it.

Players like Cullen, Franco, Bianchini, Ronald and Vipotnik would turn out entirely different performances if we were actually driving forward with intent and a good tempo instead of walking football ad infinitum.
