Losing your touch Darran. That particular nonsense has been doing the rounds for at least three days.
In all seriousness though, I wish someone would pass the message ‘Christmas is cancelled by Tesco’ to our local Tesco. I was in there yesterday and every aisle is now full of Christmas cards, Christmas trees, Christmas food, Christmas decorations, crackers etc. and they’ve already started playing the Christmas song CD which stays on a permanent loop for the next 5 weeks.
It’s only mid November. They started getting stuff in before Halloween this year. Sick of it by the time it actually comes.
Tesco is a five minute walk. Waitrose is 20 minutes…Thank you for your concern Lis but I haven’t got much time to be on the internet lately.
Oh and I do find it a little concerning that a young lady of your stature is shopping in Tesco.

I’m lazy.
Thanks for the young bit though.![]()

I like. Christmas as well, but have never done decorations before December.Tree and decs going up in my house this weekend. Can’t wait, it’s the best part of the year![]()
It’s tough out there at the moment in many ways, and getting the decs up lifts the spirits. And my two young grandsons love it. I started putting them up at the end of November during Covid and just continued it every year sinceI like. Christmas as well, but have never done decorations before December.
We’ve tended to do it the other way - leave the lights etc up for all of January for exactly the same reason. Makes it all a bit brighter.
