What we are learning is we have a coach who is wholly committed to his style of football. This is to be admired to an extent. The problem you have is that style of football is not driving the indicators you to be a successful, progressive team today. The Swansea Way was 12 years ago, football has moved on. This was a commendable project when Russ was given the job but he needs to be more adaptable.
 
The way we playing under Martin isn't the Swansea Way. Martinez, Rodgers, Laudrup and Potter were far more balanced in their attitude towards possession and attacking intent.

The frustrating thing with Martin is that it only needs a few tweaks in selection and philosophy to put us on the right track, as our points from losing positions demonstrate. But he seems to be far too dogmatic to see the bigger picture.
