Wanted Hellberg, shame it doesn't look like happening, oh well. Board getting pelters for not appointing him in the summer, but was a bit of a loss-loss situation for them really with how well Sheehan did.

Interesting now as there hasn't been a single name mentioned as an alternative, so no idea where we go from here. Starting to think my trip to Bristol on Saturday is going to be less excited than expected...

Wonder who we look at now? If Boro get Hellberg, that still leaves Norwich and Southampton to compete with. What’s Alan Sheehan up to these days?!

When there's even a mention of another club, it never ends well for us.

This ownership if they fail to get this across will have to seriously answer some heavy questions.

Awful January window under them, late to sack Luke Williams, Not finding a replacement for him quick enough, appointing Sheehan and giving him a 3yr deal, a summer window which appears to be questionable inclduing signing Idah for 7mill and now this fiasco after sacking Sheehan. Not to mention having a notorious forum troll as our head of recruitment.

Every key moment and decision they've had to take it has gone horribly wrong. Its all good getting these big names to join the ownership group but if you can't get basic key decisions right, we'll go nowhere.
Oh well, these owners have had nightmsre after nightmare. I tried to give them a chance but they cannot make a key decision to save their lives.

I’m not 100% sure about that. Looks as if it’s been hijacked at the last second. Not the fault of the owners in this case. In fact, if we’d have appointed him, which looked to be happening until this morning, we’d have been the quickest out of us, Norwich, Southampton and Boro to make an appointment. That’s decisive considering we let Sheehan go under a week ago. We can’t blame the club for a manger deciding to go somewhere higher in the league.

I've got a feeling they haven't been speaking to other candidates aswell. They will have a shortlisted but doubt they would have been in contact with anyone else and all the eggs have been in the hellberg basket.

Looks like we're gonna have another drawn out situation like after Duff again.

Same old swansea.

Makes sense for him suppose higher in the division and closer to Sweden.

Maybe Russell is coming back 🤣
Closer to Sweden made me laugh.

Need to just wait and see. Can’t force someone to join you, so I don’t see why the board should get pelters. Also, absolutely nobody knows if he’s any good, let alone would be good for us. Relax…as Sham would say, it’s just a ride.

If the news of Hellberg to Boro is true then I'm not really shocked. As a Swans fan then it comes as second nature to miss out.

Same old, same old......we move on to the next one.
Im disappointed. But used to this as you said. Wonder who the next manager to be linked is

If he goes to Boro then can’t blame the board for this.
They were quick quick in sacking Sheehan (maybe not quick enough for some).
And they wasted no time in trying to tie Hellburg up.
If it’s not him then I still have faith that they will find the right guy.
I’ve not said that sentence about our owners since Huw Jenkins was appointing the likes of Martinez etc 🤣

Bristol City v Swansea City
