Highly improbable with the point deductions and tripe at the bottom of the league, another "reset" or "adjustment" year as part of the "process"

Relegation isn't 'Highly improbable' at all. What would be highly improbable would be Norwich and Sheffield Utd (who aren't tripe at the bottom of the league) being in the relegation zone at the end of the season. So perhaps we're now actually 20th rather than 18th.

I won't lie. I was out and about today and when this came up in my head, over and over it felt like someone gave me a gut punch. It feels like we have walked into a car lot looking for a Porsche and come out with a Volvo. I will get behind Matos and I hope it works out. Show us what we all don't know and what he is. Not all managers have to be prolific, but this seems like desperation. I suppose no manager unless he has had proven success like Rodgers etc will always be a risk. Even Hellberg. No guarantee that will work.

This is true. He had good contacts at Chelsea for their young players. Sinclair and Borini followed him here and the rest is history.

You could argue the most important decisions Brendan made as Swansea manager were:

- Bringing in Sinclair and immediately adding what we most lacked under Sousa: goals.
- Finding the right place in the team for Dobbie and ensuring scoring goals wasn't all on Sinclair.
- Bringing in Borini for the run-in.

Matos plays with a flat back 4. His style is playing the ball out from the back and an aggressive press along with an aggressive attack.

Would anyone be opposed to Bellamy managing us. I think he would be my first choice, the way they played tonight is why I enjoy football.

I would take him, definitely. But I don't think he'd ever come here, not under any circumstances. He's Cardiff through and through.

I like Bellamy for Wales and think he could manage in the Championship but just not for us!

I don't think he'd be interested until the play offs are over and then the World Cup if we qualify.
I really don't think the Cardiff/Swansea thing would be relevant if the timing was right.
After all, Robbie James, Alan Curtis and Ivor Allchurch all played for Cardiff.

Not realistic at the moment because of the Wales job but yes absolutely in the longer term.
To be fair he was very complimentary about us when he did any media work.
