The ‘Vítor Matos’ Managerial Thread

First things thing in his inbox is to find a new right back.
The whole right hand side has to be fixed. If I see Ronald even coming off the bench by the 1st of February its been another disaster window simple as.

He's been here 2 yrs now and he's got to be the worst winger I've had the displeasure of watching.

His only trick is to put his head down and kick the ball at an opponents body and hope for a lucky bounce. Absolutely 0 technique, brain, or just ourtight ability with him.

Sell him to anywhere that will take him and send Benson back aswell and get a proper RW in.

I think you're being kind when you say he's got one trick.

If he was a race horse we'd be lucky to make a stick of glue out of him.

As been reported, if Matos is coming in, I really hope he can get a tune out of the players, because today they just looked lost.

By the way, apropos of nothing, our "rejuvenated" striker Vip has only scored in 1 of the last 10 games.

I'll just leave that there.
Is it me or does it feel like he’s not played much in at least the last 5?

I really don’t think we should be questioning Vipotnik when he’s scored 8 goals this season for us, when we’ve been the worst attacking side in the division at points. The guy can clearly score goals. Without him, we’d be up a certain creek without a paddle.

I think that’s the point. If Vip dries up we really are up shit creek.

He was out for a game or two with injury. And hasn't really started as much. Granted the other games he came on and scored. But his injury was reported to be out for a few weeks, but seems like he is working himself back to fitness again.

Exactly, when he's not starting, what do yo expect him to do? Although the way we are playing now, it would not matter if we had Mbappe up front.

If we are honest, he has not done much this season other than score the eight goals. His finishing is excellent but he does very little else and either we create more chances for him or he probably will be replaced by somebody who can make the difference in other parts of the game. It is a little bit chicken and the egg with him. Although based on Idah so far, we are not gaining much when Vipotnik is benched. One costing significantly more money than the other must be a motivating factor in that but who Matos commits to first will be one to watch considering he probably has little knowledge of either so will be making his judgement off what he has seen in recent weeks and training alone.
