• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

this new manager/ coach if he comes in tomorrowor when ever, will not change things overnight ( unfortunatly) so lets ALL be realistic give him some time ( which is short) and see what he brings to the show, and can improve what we have, look at the games we have coming in the weeks before and over the holidays not going to be easy but we should have an idea by january if he can make any improvements or not but lets give him a chance at least

Just looked it up :

International sportspeople can apply for super priority application approved next working day but not on weekends - so I guess it will be approved tomorrow.

an international sportsperson can apply for a UK Super Priority Visa to get a faster decision on their visa application
. This optional service costs an extra fee (currently £1,000) and can result in a decision by the end of the next working day after your biometric appointment, provided the appointment is on a weekday.

I don't believe we were ever planning an announcement on a Sunday - would expect it tomorrow

Cant see him having much impact ahead of Tuesday but let's see, don't think there is anything to worry about that it hasnt been announced - the fact he was at Ashton Gate yesterday confirms this one for me

Just don’t want Darren O’dreadful in charge for another game - I can’t take anymore.

O'Dea basically left a (well paid) job for life at Celtic, his ambition got the better of him and he took the gig under a useless Sheehan. He'll go back to Celtic Park with open arms, continue to learn his trade, then eventually get to manage a half decent SPL side.

Is there such a thing?

About three quarters of managers in the premier league are EU immigrants so can't be that difficult to get a work visa

Santos reminds me of Mike Tyson. Same build, same ability to mark a fast winger, i.e. none.
Another dud acquisition, to list alongside Idah.
Should never have been signed by us , terrible player.

Wasn't Santos signed when Cabango was the only senior centre-back on the club's books? Clearly a cheap signing so at least we had a warm body to play there if we didn't sign anyone else, then emergency cover once we did get other players in. Once Burgess and Casey arrived, he was destined to spend the majority of the season on the bench.

Spot on. Was brought in due to injuries. I am not worried about him as back up if used right. He is a presence in defense but was used on Saturday as a player who was out of positions at times due to tactics.
