• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Excellent from Root, but some real dross bowling then served up to undo lots of the good work. The England new ball bowlers don’t seem to be able to hit line and length.

Bore draw to see out 2026 ashes or 4-1? Can't see Aus having enough time to get the wickets needed and then chase.

Batters wicket i'm guessing? Not seen much of the test to be honest.
If you take care, get in and play with a degree of safety, then you can score by the look of it, but Bowling relentless line might well do the trick in day 4 and 5, and England are due another episode of the self-destruct blues. It should be a draw if they bat properly…

4-1 I’d go for. Be surprised if England bat the 4 sessions they’ll need to in order to get a draw.
Yeah after yesterday’s debacle there’s only one result in this game. Australia, possibly by an innings. England are shot. From a comfortable 320-5 to a first innings deficit of likely around 200 in little more than 24 hours.

Sigh.

Just the 184 needed to take this to a fourth innings.

On a minor positive note, at least Stokes waited until the penultimate day of the series to bowl himself into the ground.

This has not collapsed into the innings defeat that some of us thought it might, although a draw is still some way off in the distance. So much now depends on how long Bethell and Smith stay together.
