A great era for music, that was proper music, million times better than what is produced these days.
Glen also toured when Brian Wilson ‘retired’ from the road. I’m a little obsessed with ‘Wichita Lineman’- a great
Jimmy Webb song recorded by Glen (with the Wrecking Crew). Carol Kaye’s bass at the start is a thing of beauty. ‘Pet Sounds’ is essentially Brian Wilson and the Wrecking Crew- with vocals from the others added later.
