• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

You’re not sitting on the fence and getting splinters then?

I know he's a fraud and not taking us anywhere. I'm also tired of his constant bullshit management talk.

Courage......🤮

When we finish 14th this season what will fans say?

Two full seasons with zero progression.

They'll point at the sky and scream "what about Cooper".

When people state be careful of you wish for I wanted Cooper gone and we ended up with Martin.
I have to agree I regret that wish.
Could I be wrong again?

The twps will say: ' well done Martin for finishing higher than your median, 15th. You've over achieved.'

Don't listen to the Twp 17% is the only motto, nowadays.

The Twp 17% who are still today saying we'll be top 6 by end Feb.

There’s £1.5m of his chosen talent sat getting splinters in their backsides. I think there needs to be some building of trust before Winter opens the cheque book.

His chosen talent? Who, Obafemi? Who we have chased long before Martin arrived, and who has had issues long before Martin managed him.

If you’re on about Fisher, point taken, bad one by Russ. Not that I have major issues with Fisher, it was money spent on a position not needed.

No mun! A million for Darling who has spent large parts of the season on the bench, and 400k for Fisher. Throw in the additional fees etc and it will be above £1.5m

Darling will make this club millions, bookmark it. He’s a young defender who has made mistakes and had time out, but would expect him to be a permanent feature going forward.

I hope this turns out to be true as we currently need to generate a £10m asset each season, or he spearheads a return to Premier League riches. Neither seem likely right now, but the former is the most likely of the two.

I agree with this. He will attract clubs because he can bring the ball out. Only if he can get his defensive act together though. Being messed about and different partners won’t be helping any of our defenders, and Wood never helps anything.

Don't think Russ is doing an amazing job by any means but the question is what are we expecting? I'd say that finishing comfortably mid table in the Championship away from the relegation zone is about a par performance for us at the moment, given the size of our support and finances now.

We would have had another one if the board backed him with O'Reilly
