This one Brentford fan doesn't like us scoring goals.

Round 32 didn't really change anything in the reach for the Top Two spots as all 4 likely contenders each won their respective encounters. Watford squeezed past Blackburn by a single goal whilst Swansea showed that a well-worn routine of a corner under the bar and then taking out all the defenders and keeper gets you a goal. Watch it on the highlights and get slightly annoyed. Whilst not quite a carbon copy of their lucky 1-0 win against us, it is definitely a tactic that they have decided to put on repeat on the tactics board. Norwich blew any lowly Birmingham, and we did the same to even lowlier Sheffield Wednesday.

Apart from the fact he doesn't realize we drew 1-1.

He also continues with his hatred for us.

"It's interesting to note that the 538 Justice League now has us and Norwich on exactly the same SPI rating with Watford trailing and Swansea about a massive 20% behind. Swansea are below Cardiff, Barnsley, Bournemouth (!) and Stoke whilst only being JUST above Reading, QPR, Blackburn and Millwall. It was also interesting to note the Swansea forums complaining bitterly about the LACK of squad rotation and how they will pay the price in this last third of the season. We keep saying it but Swansea are overachieving at the moment (or being "lucky" if you like) and getting fluke 1-0 wins with their matches being controlled by.... "permissive" referees."

This 538 Justice League he puts a lot of faith in, apparently some statistic says that we shouldn't have won a lot a games we did win. Hmm

Edit:

This is the nonsense he's talking about

I prefer the simple won, drew, lost table myself.

I've seen that fivethirtyeight system before - I used to call it the clutching at straws method

The luckiest team in football seem to be just a point behind them despite having played two games left. It hurts them to realise that they are not better than us

I can't believe they have a massive thread "what other teams fans say about us" where they search for complimentary remarks so they can congratulate themselves.

Same odds as them to win it.

I don't think anyone missed that but him, perhaps he thats why he hates us

My favourite thread is the one " Where were you when the Bees went top of the championship" closely followd a week later by " 6 days that ended our season"
Bunch of fking turnips.

Evening Gents!!
As we didn’t have a game today, just thought I’d drop by again as I promised I would from about a month ago. 😀

Guess you’re all in high spirits this evening after the week just gone??!! A bit different from this time last week I would imagine??!!

As things are panning out, it looks to me like it’s going to be a shoot-out between you and (one of our ‘hated’ rivals (due to our games with them back in the 70s)) Watford for the 2nd automatic spot, with Norwich now nailed on for the title.

We’ve been struggling for a good 8-10 games now, picking up a few wins, but not looking convincing, and I think what happened last season, missing out on Automatic AND through the play offs, our protracted close season, and some injuries to key players have caught up on us. Must say, I’m not looking forward to the play offs. Our 0/9 record doesn’t inspire confidence, particularly with the way Barnsley and your Noisy Neighbours are going.....😕

Looks like your last day of the season game at Watford could be the one that decides things.......

One thing I wondered if you could help me with, was what sort of deal your club has given you this season in terms of iFollow access? I did the survey sent out by the EFL, but was wondering what fans of other clubs got offered? Because of our new ground Season Tickets for this season were sold pre-COVID last year, and our club have given those of us that purchased them, and have frozen them until next year(rather than asking for a refund) free iFollow access to all our home games, and midweek aways. Which I thought was a pretty decent offer.

Same offer with us Bee. It's all that's allowed apparently. But we've also been offered season tickets for next year for £99...or £79 if you are an old codger like me.

You are still well in the race, and you know it! We have played crap for 6 games and somehow survived. Loads of twists to come. Plenty of time for anyone to fall away or sprint through. Except Cardiff, they are pure standard Mick McCrappy dogshit and will end mid table.

Bloody hell, I’d forgotten who our last game was against! It could be a huge game for an automatic spot, or for a place against the team you’d rather face in the playoffs. Assuming we finish in the top 6 of course......

They really are comedy gold - but I do like the comment about the Swans being full of "luck and skullduggery", I haven't heard that word for years, they're an educated lot in west London.

Also the last time we were accused of it was about 1973 under Harry Gregg. Oh sorry did I say skullduggery? I meant GBH.
