I know what I’m saying is a bit silly in legal terms etc but someone should literally kidnap her and take her somewhere safe and help her.

I didn’t use the word kidnap, but my thought process was very similar.

Lots of families have done that to their sons / daughters over the years but most of the time they just go straight back at the first opportunity. Until they truly want to get off the gear, it’s practically impossible to force them to do it.

The guy who said his name is Psycho is Carl Mole who lived in Briton Ferry for several years.
He passed away yesterday.
I was talking to him outside Swansea railway station about a month ago.
Had a chat and then he said “I’ve got to go home Dar I’ve got to take the wife for a walk and shag the dog.
Sad!

One of the funniest people you could meet before he became an addict. A natural comedian. Don’t get me wrong he could also be a nuisance after a while and you’d have to tell him to piss off, but even then he’d just make a joke of it. Hen Gwrt / Saltings legend.

He was up the Ath watching the Ferry a few years ago and we were playing a team from Cardiff. They had a penalty and this black fella took it and hit it over the bar into orbit.
Moley was pissing himself laughing and every time the black fella touched the ball he was jeering him.
It went on into the second half and one of their fans called him a racist,he replied with “I’m not a racist I’ve got a black & white tv and a Dalmatian.”
Everyone including the bloke that had accused him was on the floor in hysterics.

I agree only she can do it and stick to it but something needs doing.
Don’t get me wrong most of them need help but there’s a huge difference between her and men in their 40’s imo.

I watched the whole thing the other day, thoroughly depressing. The two Cardiff lads that did it came across decent, I thought they were going to be annoying at first but they won me over. Incidental question but what to people refer to the area as? I don't know Brynmelin but whenever we were coming through up to the High St we always used to say that we're coming up Dyfatty? Anyone know it as Green Hill?

Seeing his old man’s proper name there, I only remember his nickname; Dinner Moule.

I've said it before. and i will say it again. Anyone of us could find ourselves in that position. One wrong move, wrong friends, and you end up like that.

One thing that makes me think about the Brynmelym and Dyfatty area of Swansea, that just a look at that video, it purpurates the use of drugs . Swansea Council dump them all there, and forget them, way above my paygrade, but it's disgusting. Vulnerable people need looking after.

Wow, that's 3 that have passed away, that appeared on that Brynmelyn video, the other day the chap who was outside the flats, with a black gilet on passed away only 41, so sad.. Rest In peace.

A couple of years back I got talking to a woman from the midlands who was down this way on a drug detox programme. This was her second go. After completing the programme the first time she went home and managed to stay “clean” for a couple of years, but eventually she relapsed back in to drug use because her family and friends were all doing it and it was in her face everyday.

She was close to completing the detox programme for a second time and knew that once she’d finished if she wanted to stay “clean” she could never return home and would have to cut her ties with her family and friends. She was looking for a house down this way and was ready to start all over again.

Tbf, giving up your family and friends when you’re getting on is a big sacrifice and I was impressed with her determination. Hope shes managed to turn things around.
