Whilst we are all still smiling after last night, this is a real head scratcher now.
I've no doubt Citeh will rest half their strongest 11, and with that comes the issue. We play our best 11 and play well then we have a massive chance. BUT...I can see why Coops will give a run out to the fringes. Thing is for me, we do that then we'll probably lose...lose bitta momentum and the fringe lads spend all night chasing the ball. Personally, I'd love to see us go as strong as possible as we owe em.

Play our stiffs, we ain't going to win the cup whilst there is a very real possibility that we can win this league.

Would love to beat City, as i love to beat any team we play.

I get that, and deep down probably agree. And if it was against anyone else then definitely. But my memory still burns with the injustice. Guess I'm just speaking like a fan not a manager.

As much as it grates, I agree that we should play the stiffs. We don't want to risk injuries to key players. Give fringe players match time. Start Morris!

Not really a dilemma for me. I'm expecting most if not all new signings to start on Wednesday and possibly a few fringe players. It may be against the "magic" of the cup, but after three years, I'm more about the magic of the Premier League.

I must admit I hadn't clocked that they had won 13 in a row to this point and conceded just 3 in that time, scoring 33

Just a mix for me of players but definitely some need a rest and we need to make that happen - protect the likes of Bennett, Guehi, Ayew, Hourihane and Grimes as much as I suspect they will all be desperate to play. Winning after all is a habit!

I think the whole of last night's bench will start as long as none are cup tied. Plus one of the centre backs and one other.

Head must rule heart on this one for me. Whilst I'd love to stick one on the smug cheating bar stewards after the travesty of 2019, promotion to the PL has to be the priority.

We'll do 'em twice next season instead ;)

I agree. You have to give some hope of game time to non-starting 11 players, albeit it might just be the one game! New signings should start, rest Ayew for sure, Lowe didn't quite look himself last night so maybe bench him for the cup game? We do have options, so need to use/test them imo.

I’d be surprised if he throws Freeman in but you never know. I’ve got a feeling he’ll go much like the Forest team
