The EFL Championship Season 23/24 | The Official Match Thread | Swansea City v Southampton FC | The Swansea.com Stadium

Can someone throw the towel in here!
Hopefully Martin shows us a bit of mercy here.

This is different level stuff here from Soton......unbelievable football!

It's all about the details mun, Grimesy said mun.. more like can't defend and do basics like control a football.. details mun

Fulton is hilarious . Compare what we do with the ball with what they do. They move, we watch.
I wouldn’t even say their movement is that good. They are receiving the ball fairly static.

How long before Luke Skywalker realises we cannot play with a 5?

The difference in pace and movement is worlds apart.
Not just pace in body but also quickness of mind.
Williams will have a lot of work to do here

Well there's always the TNS game to look forward to.
Wonder if Russ will come back for Wood?

Unlucky from Tymon, I don't think Cullen realised he had room to turn to hit that on his right.

Details -

Can't pass a football
Can't mark
Can't create anything
Can't keep possession
Can't keep a defensive line

Are we really paying Grimes and Fulton millions.. club is a joke, a circus.. I'm thinking of not getting a season ticket.. Williams has a job on his hands.. he needs more than details.. footballing basics

Darling needs a special mention for just how badly he's playing today
Compared to Humphries and Wood he has been the best of the three.
Darling cut out a pass from Downes and everyone else stopped and Downes got to the loose ball first when he was third or fourth favourite.

Wood let the ball run across him for the second and Humphries has been ball watching and playing players onside on several occaasions.

The difference in pace and movement is worlds apart.
Not just pace in body but also quickness of mind.
Williams will have a lot of work to do here
Also, instinctively they look to play the ball forward and we look backwards which is (as usual) putting us under pressure
