The FA Cup Fourth Round 23/24 | The Official Match Thread | AFC Bournemouth v Swansea City FC | The Vitality Stadium

Tomorrow
Send back Ashby and Humphreys.

Get a right back in and centre half to replace.
Get 2 attacking midfielders.
Get a Striker.
There is a player in Humphries but left back is never where you will see the best of him.
Ashby has been calamitous, every first touch has run loose or passed right back into trouble.

Has Williams really told them to play it out from the back?
At least the downfield hoof by Fish results in a 50/50 and chance of second ball. What the fuck are we going to do with it inside our defensive third and with Muff players closing down at speed.

Defence is appalling, gone are the days of leaders all over the back line in De Vries, Williams, Monk, Tate & Rangel, all had big voices and put a shift in.

The f**k were we expecting? Crap line up, Andy f**king Fisher in goal…I know they’re a league above but Christ we‘re making them look like Brazil.

Embarrassing and entirely predictable.
It's what is at hand.

Players needed to be rested, we have injuries.
The squad is very poor.

We had a chance to do something in the summer but have ended up with a bunch of frauds.....added to the trash already here.

Williams shouldn't get the benefit of the doubt for picking such a daft lineup. Whatever we make of our transfer dealings he's picked this shambles with Ashby as an attacker, loads of slow midfielders, Wood and Humphreys...

And here we see the flaws of the midfield diamond, the team is so narrow that if you can't pass it through a press with pace you invite all of their midfield to camp around one or two players who drop deep for the ball.
