I think it’s just the done thing,I remember someone having to tell Beckhan he was wearing his OBE on the wrong side at William and Kate’s wedding.
He had it on the right lapel. :lol:

My grandfathers' sits proudly in a display frame in his living room, he's never worn his (as far as i know).
