• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

The whole event , which was impeccably respected by the trooping and the audience who lined the parade was I feel stained by the sight of that one prince following the coffin .
Did not enjoy the viewing when his apperance came on my tele .

Great effort by the organisers and the planners for such a broadcast too .

Avoided it all day and watched the hour long edited highlights in the evening. What I don’t understand is why Harry wasn’t allowed to wear military uniform. Leaving aside his not wanting publicity but seeking it at every opportunity he’s done two tours of Afghanistan so to me he’s entitled to wear the uniform. In fact he’s much more entitled to wear military uniform than Charles as far as I can see.

Hopefully normal life can now resume.

Only Harry and Andrew have actually served in a war zone. Harry can’t wear one because he’s technically left the Royal Family, Andrew for other obvious reasons.

It doesnt fit any more?

Putting aside their other issues the two that have served the military in a war zone aren’t allowed to wear military uniform whilst those who have never done so are allowed to wear it.

It’s such a load of utter bollocks.
